Beatrice Mercuri

Graduated with honors in History, Science and Techniques of Music and Performing Arts at the University Tor Vergata in Rome. Master's degree with honors in Third Sector. She studied piano and singing at the Conservatory of Frosinone L. Refice. Then follows the second-level degree in Musical Disciplines at the Conservatory Santa Cecilia in Rome with top honors. She specializes with Monica Bacelli, Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz, Erling R. Eriksen at the Accademia Filarmonica Romana and with Gemma Bertagnolli, Torsten Übelhör, Thomas Albert at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

Winner of the first prize at the 2005 ROME FESTIVAL competition, she made her debut as Dorabella and Cherubino in Rome. Very active in the field of concert, she sung at the side of Mrs Fiorenza Cossotto.

She performed in television shows and in numerous concert halls in Italy and abroad, including the Rome Opera Theatre, Vespasiano of Rieti, Varna Opera Theatre, DeLaMar of Amsterdam, De Spiegel of Zwolle, Hengelo Rabotheater, Gent Capitole Theater, Hasselt Cultuurcentrum, Stadsschouwburg of Utrecht and Nijmegen, Rotterdam nieuwe Luxor Theater, De Flint Amesfoort, De Goudse Schouwburg of Gouda, Eindhoven Parktheater, Uden Markant, IJmuiden Stadsschouwburg Velsen, De Schouwburg of Leuven, Den Haag Koninklijke Schouwburg, the Theater de Veste in Delft, the Sankt Vith Triangel, the Junushoff Wageningen Theater, De Maagd Theater in Bergen op Zoom, the Schouwburg Amphion in Doetinchem, the Stadstheater in Zoetermeer, the Kinneksbond in Mamer, the Salzburg Schloß Frohnburg and the Mozarteum.

Careful attention to the early and contemporary music has sung rare works written between ‘600 and ‘700 participating also in world premieres.

She won the Third Prize – International Singing Competition L.Denza, year 2012 and debuted the role of La Musica in Orfeo (Monteverdi) at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
